Three people were involved in a confrontation in High Street in Dumbarton where a man was stabbed. The 29 year old was treated in hospital for his wounds.
The motive is currently unknown but police are checking the CCTV. Det Insp Fiona Macarthur said: “We know there was some sort of altercation between the injured man and two men in the High Street, but the motive for the attack is still unknown.
The Police are encouraging witnesses to come forward as it was 20:30 hours and the streets would still have been populated by people.
