Parts of a broken silver cross pram have been found that are believed to be connected to the murder of a mother and her 3 year old son that occurred 43 years ago. The mother and son disappeared and are presumed dead in 1976. Bones aware also found, and although believed to be that of an animal, will be examined further by the police forensically. The Leanach quarry was drained earlier this month as part of the continued investigation. The woman’s BMW car was found burned out the night of her disappearance on the A9 road near Inverness.
